Single modality treatment

Refers to a situation in which only one treatment modality is chosen from among several options available for that disease process. This is in contrast to [intlink id=”103″ type=”post”]combined modality treatment[/intlink] or even [intlink id=”364″ type=”post”]multi-modality treatment[/intlink].
