Medialization laryngoplasty

Refers to a surgical procedure to push a paralyzed, atrophied, or scarred vocal fold toward the other vocal fold and reduce flaccidity. Typically performed under sedation and [intlink id=”321″ type=”post”]local[/intlink] (not [intlink id=”192″ type=”post”]general[/intlink]) anesthesia, on an [intlink id=”407″ type=”post”]outpatient[/intlink] basis.
