Kenalog™: The trade
name of triamcinolone acetonide, a steroid preparation sometimes
injected into inflammatory lesions in the larynx or elsewhere.
Keratosis:
A lesion seen most often on the mucosa of the vocal folds.
It typically appears as a white patch (leukoplakia).
Histologically one sees heaping
up of the surface layer of cells, which do not mature and
“slough off” as they should.
